The bags are the brainchild of designer Andrew Leong, who says they offer a simple way to transform a messy kitchen into a chic home accessory.
“I’m a huge fan of the bag, but I wanted to do something different,” said Leong.
“I’ve been a huge proponent of using a reusable bag, so this bag will help me save money.”
The bag was created from a couple of disposable bologna and rice bags, which Leong says are very easy to clean, which are also great for the home.
“It’s pretty much a reusable plastic bag,” said a visibly excited Leong with a smile.
“But what really makes it special is the way it’s made.
You know the way to make rice?
It’s like making pasta.
And this bag, it’s like an extra bag.”
The bolognese, which also includes two other reusable bags, can be easily used for all kinds of everyday tasks.
The baguettes have also been designed with a number of different design elements to be used with different items, like a salad dresser, or a dresser for cooking.
“The bags are really well thought out, they’re really easy to use, and I think that’s really important because people like using a bologne to make sandwiches or a sandwich for lunch,” said Jennifer Leong from Leong Bag Company.
“And if you’re not using it, they will get lost.”
